Group activities as an offer of learning opportunities in the interpersonal field:

• Prevention of withdrawal tendencies and social isolation
• Facilitate relationship building between the visitor / visitors, visitors / nurse
• Opportunity for the development, testing and re-acquisition of social skills

In addition to group offers, such as Cooking, music, discussion group, knitting, crafts or memory training can be found in the day and week end activities more regularly or situational (dance afternoons, games, film screenings, birthday celebrations, seasonal festivals) take place. Even individual actions such as talks and individual promotions are offered.
 

Sea and More
Since 10 years, a group of Supervisors, composed of those who visited the day care and ambulatory patients receiving care, into make a holiday trip in the spring for 14 days to the Netherlands at the North Sea. This experience for the senses - beyond the daily routine - the AABK enshrined in their care concept.

For the employees of AABK is always a pleasure to see how much our patients enjoy this free time. Already a long-lost capabilities are re-enabled. For example, trips to the beach, a boattrip, walks in the dunes, or a visit to a flower paradise.

Such a journey means for the participants more than just recreation: It is the reference to her own past. For this reason, we place great emphasis on the usual measures of a more proactive approach, not only disturbed the function to consider, but the preservation of the identity to promote.
