Benefits for cared persons with significant general need for care
Entitled to the benefits under § § 45 a, b are in need of care with significant general management needs, especially those suffering from dementia when the insured all levels of care, see also Supplementary Care Services Act, PflEG. There are, inter alia, special care offers, such from care services or special care groups. Additional support services are also made in the use of day care, night care and short-term care, since in these cases the costs for accommodation, meals and investments of the insurance costs. Prerequisite for using these services is a separate application and assessment by the medical service. 

The circle of the persons has been extended to persons who need a help in the field of basic care and household care, not the extent of the care level I reached (so-called care level "0"). For this group of people are in need of care,who are

• not least the care level I refer, because the time necessary assistance activities under the provisions of § 15 para 3 No 1 SGB XI (<= 45 minutes) is
• People who, although a time of nursing care in accordance with stages I-III of the long-term care but who do not meet the conditions of § 14 paragraph 1 SGB XI meet, because you probably only need assistance for less than six months there - a short patient is - or their needs on other than those specified in § 14 para 4 SGB XI mentioned tasks relates.

The capacity is up to 100 € and up to € 200 per month. The amount of power is in each of the
Care Fund on the recommendation of the MDK in accordance with guidelines to be drawn down. The settlement with the maintenance fund is part of the expenses like the kind. If in any year the full amount is not utilized, the remainder to the following year.
